For practitioners who wish to deepen their personal practice and/or develop the competence and confidence to teach yoga to others, this program exceeds the content and contact hour standards for the Yoga Alliance RYT 200 with a low student-faculty ratio. Participants will shift their perspectives on self and lifestyle, and personal and teaching practice. Students will not only experience yoga as a profoundly balancing mind-body-spirit practice through breath and postures, gaining new insights into themselves and their lives, they will also explore authentic ways to share these understandings with others. The program helps students find the teacher within whether they choose to focus on their own mind-body-spirit development or establish a teaching path in service of others. There are two 200 hour tracks:
RYT 200 Teacher Education Track: For prospective yoga teachers who want to complete the practicum hours required for the Yoga Alliance 200-hour RYT designation, via an Externship arranged through the school.
NON-RYT Practitioner Enrichment
Track: For yoga practitioners looking to deepen their personal practice who will opt-out of the practicum hours required for Yoga Alliance 200-hour RYT designation and complete a Personal Enrichment Project in lieu of the Externship. These students will not be eligible for the RYT 200 designation with Yoga Alliance.
Our 200 hour program takes place one retreat-style weekend a month, for 11 months; Saturdays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexible payment plans are available!
Our 2019-2020 program begins October 26, 2019! Stay tuned for complete program schedule.
